Officine Tamborrino is pleased to invite you to a meeting with Luisa Ruggio who will discuss her new novel "Teresa Manara" on 31st October 2014 at 8:00pm

A new cultural event is going to take place in Ostuni, Italy, at Officine Tamborrino’s design space.

On Friday 31st October at 8:00 pm, we will meet Luisa Ruggio, one of the most promising young female writers, who will discuss her new novel "Teresa Manara", an extraordinary fiction centred on a woman moving from Emilia region to Salento area during the Fifties, whose main aspiration is viticulture and winemaking.

In this book wine becomes a tool for development and identity making, just like modern trends on promoting local territories suggest us day by day. An outstanding example of this networking activity is provided by WineLandScape, an association of Polidesign in Milan which aims at exploring all the best “Wine stories” which can represent Italy on a National and International level.

Officine Tamborrino joined the association and believes that wine is the “best non-digital social media 2.0”, that’s why we will be hosting a little wine tasting event after the meeting, enjoying a special selection of “Teresa Manara” Chardonnay and Negramaro by Cantele.

It's free to attend, but registration at info@officinetamborrino.com is needed as spaces are limited.
